Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the Doodle History publishing application (the “Application”) and this website, operated by Doodle History (“we”, “us”). The Application is a private, first-party tool used by the operator to publish its own content to its own connected social media accounts.

1. Acceptance

By using the Application, the operator agrees to these Terms and to the terms, policies, and developer agreements of each connected platform (TikTok, Meta/Instagram/Facebook, and Google/YouTube).

2. Description of the service

The Application automates the publishing of the operator's own educational videos to the operator's own social accounts via each platform's official API. It is not a public product or service, it has no other users, and it does not act on behalf of any third party.

3. Acceptable use

• The Application is used only to publish content the operator owns or is authorized to publish.
• The operator complies with each platform's Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, and developer policies, including required disclosures for AI-assisted or synthetic media.
• The Application is not used to spam, mislead, infringe intellectual property, or post prohibited content.

4. Content & intellectual property

All Doodle History videos, scripts, artwork, and branding are the property of the operator or are used under appropriate rights. Historical facts are drawn from public sources, which are credited in the relevant video descriptions.

5. Third-party platforms

The Application depends on third-party platform APIs. We do not control those platforms and are not responsible for their availability, changes, or actions. Use of each platform remains subject to that platform's own terms.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Application is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Application.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict of law principles.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the project or platform requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
