About Doodle History

What this project is

Doodle History produces faceless, illustrated history explainers. Each episode is researched from public sources, written and reviewed by a human, narrated, and illustrated in a simple marker doodle style. The same content is shared as short clips on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

How episodes are made

Every episode starts from a sourced research file; the script uses only facts found there, and a claim-by-claim check runs before anything is published. Sources are listed on each episode page and in every video description. Disputed dates and numbers are flagged as disputed, not stated as fact.

About this website & our publishing tool

To save time, the operator of Doodle History uses a private, self-hosted tool to publish its own videos to its own connected social accounts (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook) through each platform's official API. The tool is used only by the operator; it is not a public product, it has no end users other than the operator, and it does not collect or process personal information from viewers or third parties.

In short: this is a first-party automation tool that posts our own educational content to our own accounts. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what data each platform connection accesses and why, and our Terms of Service for the terms of use.
